Unified Tae Kwon-Do has programs for all ages. We have programs for everyone in the family. The classes are for 3-6 yr olds, 7-12 yr olds and adults.
The human body has the same basic needs no matter what age or sex. A body that is not in use will deteriorate.
Scientific studies have shown that Tae Kwon Do increases the efficiency of the lungs and heart as it tones and strengthens blood vessels and muscles. A person who exercises has twice the chance of avoiding a heart attack than a sedentary one.
One may find that dieting alone results in loose unattractive skin. By practicing Tae Kwon Do this fat will be replaced by firm, smooth muscle.
Tae Kwon Do training can effect your entire outlook on life. You’ll learn to relax, develop a better self-image, and be more able to handle the stress of daily living. A vigorous class will help relieve the tensions and pressures of a tedious day of work or study.

Tae Kwon Do Tae Kwon Do is the Korean art of self defense. When translated it is the “Way of the hand and the foot ”; Tae means “foot," Kwon means “fist,” and Do means “method” or “way.” Students learn striking and blocking techniques through traditional forms, self-defense techniques and sparring. In addition to the physical aspects of the art, we also focus on the tenets of Tae Kwon Do (Courtesy – Integrity – Perseverance – Self-Control – Indomitable Spirit). |

 | Little Dragons This is our program for preschoolers (3yrs-6yrs). This program is designed to develop listening skills, skills in following directions, balance and coordination. This delicate age group is taught with positive encouragement and enthusiasm. Stranger Awareness, Lost Child and Personal Defense are taught through role-playing. Kicking, punching and blocking are tools used in practice and discouraged for use in play. |

 | Modern Arnis Modern Arnis is a martial art from the Philippines. Weapons are used as the primary tools right from the start of training. However, Modern Arnis has many other aspects. There are empty hand forms, stick forms, Filipino Jujitsu, grappling, kicking, Sinawali Boxing, stick and dagger, knife, double stick, single stick, anti-stick grabbing, as well as combinations of all the parts mentioned. |

 | Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has produced a multitude of champions in all types of competitions. Most techniques involve both fighters on the mat. There is a heavy emphasis on positional strategy, which is about which fighter is on top, and where each person's legs are. Positions are stable situations, from which a large variety of techniques and submissions are available to both fighters.

Kickboxing We offer two types of kickboxing classes, and in both classes, the techniques are rooted from either Boxing, Muay Thai or Tae Kwon Do:
Kickboxing, which is aimed to target weight reduction and cardiovascular improvement. Unlike other “cardio kickboxing” programs, practical moves and correct technique will be taught and emphasized. The class time will be divided between cardio exercises and doing pad work.
Muay Thai – This class is geared towards training stand up fighting as it would be used in competition and in real life situations. Most of the class time will be spent heavy bag training, doing pad work and sparring. |
